About The Child Dental Benefits Schedule
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule was introduced by the Australian Government in 2014 to assist eligible children between 2-17 years old with basic dental services. The scheme provides $1000 towards dental treatment over 2 consecutive calendar years.
At Windsor Dentist we bulk-bill all children eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule.
To check your child’s eligibility please advise our friendly of your Medicare card number when booking, click the button below and fill in the form or give us a call on 07 3357 4177
- Be aged between 2 and 17 years for at least 1 day of the calendar year AND
- Be eligible for Medicare AND
- Meet the following Australian Government Assistance criteria:
Child’s parent, carer, or guardian receives any of the below
- Family Tax Benefit Part A
- Parenting payment
- Double Orphan Pension
Child receives any of the below
- Child receives any of the below
- Family Tax Benefit Part A
- Abstudy
- Carer Payment
- Disability Support Pension
- Parenting Payment
- Special Benefit
- Youth Allowance
- Financial assistance under the Veterans’ Children Education Scheme (VCES) and cannot be included as a dependent child for the purposes of Family Tax Benefit because they are 16 years or older or
- Financial assistance under the Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Act Education and Training Scheme (MRCAETS) and cannot be included as a dependent child for the purposes of Family Tax Benefit because they are 16 years or older

- Family Tax Benefit Part A
- Parenting payment
