Project Description

Patient YC (Age 22) – Chipped Front Teeth restored with Composite Bonding

Tongue studs and bars can cause a lot of damage to front teeth and YC saw us after she noticed her front teeth chipping.

These composite restorations are conservatively bonded to the underlying tooth structure with almost no preparation of the teeth. The lack of preparation preserves as much natural tooth as possible and limits the amount of drilling required. Due to the gentle air abrasion technique used, no injections or anaesthetic was required.

These chipped front teeth were easily restored with 2 composite bonded restorations in a single appointment.

CLEARFIL™ MAJESTY ES-2 (a nano-filled composite) was used to provide an aesthetic and natural looking finish which is indistinguishable from the surrounding tooth.
